Easton Corbin

Easton Corbin est né dans le comté de Gilchrist, en Floride. Il grandit dans la ferme de ses grands-parents à la suite du divorce de ses parents. Là, il découvre la musique country grâce notamment aux programmes télévisés musicaux comme Hee Haw. Il apprend à jouer de la guitare auprès de Pee Wee Melton à l'âge de 14 ans puis rejoint un groupe avec lequel il va faire la première partie d'un festival de musique et de quelques artistes country.
Corbin a ensuite fréquenté l'University of Florida's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences et a obtenu un diplôme dans l'agro-industrie, avant de se marier avec Briann, le 2 septembre 2006. Ensemble, ils déménagent à Nashville le 14 octobre 2006, où il a travaille pour Ace Hardware. Un lointain cousin, qui proche du milieu artistique, recommande Corbin aux contacts de Nashville6. Joe Fisher, directeur de A&R à Universal Music Group Nashville, signe Corbin sous le label Mercury Nashville en 2009. Il sort son premier single, "A Little More Country Than That" en juillet de la même année. Le label publie un extended play homonyme à son premier single, composé de quatre titres en août 2009. Le single entre au Top 40 du Billboard Hot Country Songs. L'album Easton Corbin sort en mars 2010 sous la production de Carson Chamberlain. L'album se vend à plus de 43 000 copies au cours de sa première semaine.
"A Little More Country Than That" gagne la première place du classement country le 3 avril 2010.
Le second single "Roll with It" sort et se classe également à la première place en octobre 2010. Le troisième single de l'album ; "I Can't Love You Back" est sorti le 8 novembre 2010.



Easton Corbin is a native of Gilchrist County, Florida. He lived on his grandparents' farm following his parents' divorce, and was introduced to country music-themed television programs such as Hee Haw. After taking guitar lessons from session musician Pee Wee Melton at age fourteen, Corbin joined a band, which won an opening slot at a music festival, followed by opening slots for Janie Fricke and Mel McDaniel.
Corbin later attended the University of Florida's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and earned an agribusiness degree, before marrying his wife, Briann, on September 2, 2006. He and Briann then moved to Nashville, Tennessee, on October 14, 2006, where he worked at an Ace Hardware store and performed at writers' nights. A distant cousin, who is a professor of entertainment management, recommended Corbin to contacts in Nashville, Tennessee. Joe Fisher, senior director of A&R at Universal Music Group Nashville, signed Corbin to the Mercury Nashville label in 2009. He released his debut single, "A Little More Country Than That", in July of that same year. Rory Lee Feek of Joey + Rory wrote the song with Don Poythress and Wynn Varble. The label released a four-song digital extended play entitled A Little More Country Than That on August 18, 2009, shortly before the single entered Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Corbin's self-titled debut album was released in March 2010, under the production of Carson Chamberlain. The album had first-week sales of 43,000 copies, making for the highest first-week sales on the Mercury Nashville label in seven years.
"A Little More Country Than That" peaked at Number One on the country charts dated for the week ending April 3, 2010, making Corbin the first solo male country artist to send a debut single to Number One since Dierks Bentley's "What Was I Thinkin'" in 2003. "Roll with It" was released as the album's second single, which hit #1 in October 2010. Corbin has also signed onto Brad Paisley's H20 World Tour, which began in May 2010. The album's third single "I Can't Love You Back" released to radio on November 8, 2010. On June 11, 2011; Corbin will appear on the Flatts Fest 2011 Tour with Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans and Justin Moore.
